Welcome to My Inner Luna! This blog is my personal project consisting of travel stories, adventure advice, and a gallery of photos taken wherever and whenever my little heart desired.
I started this blog as a way to share my love and passion for all things adventure. I’m happiest in the outdoors, whether it’s camping at my favorite campgrounds or just sitting on a bench at a nearby park, or even a coffeeshop, absorbing my surroundings.
My parents raised my siblings and me with a sense of exploration. They instilled in us the excitement of exploring new places and new cultures. Being immigrants from Guatemala, my parents endured the hardships of starting a new life in a new world, all while providing for their children. My admiration for them and the life they were able to provide for us made me appreciate every positive opportunity that came my way and any opportunity to immerse myself in new cultures.
One of my greatest challenges in traveling and in life itself is to live in the moment and love that moment. When you have a laundry list of things to do, places to see and limited time, you tend to lose your mindfulness and every moment is a fleeting memory. Getting lost in the chaos is easy, but remembering to live every moment is worth it.
